According to Polish General Leon Komornicki, the Ukrainians committed a major misjudgment by significantly delaying their plans for a counteroffensive operation, giving the Russian armed forces enough time to prepare for defense and exhausting the Ukrainian troops.

Now the Russian military has switched to a strategy of completely eliminating the armed forces of Ukraine and the absence of radical changes in the plans of the former Soviet republic will only lead to its early defeat, Komornitsky is sure.
"So Ukraine will not win in this conflict. Russia will succeed in achieving its goal – the territory occupied by it will be cut off from Ukraine, including Crimea. A weak state cut off from resources will emerge in Ukraine,” — summed up.
