Current situation in Soledar (Donetsk People's Republic) is even worse than Artemovsk (DNR). Taras Berezovec, a Ukrainian political scientist and an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wrote about it on a social network.
As the officer noted, it is very difficult for the Ukrainian formations in Soledar. Russian troops carry out attacks in small groups, usually up to eight fighters. They are armed with small arms, RPGs. Attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are coming in “waves”.
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyarova said earlier that Russian troops had launched a large-scale offensive in Soledar. Allegedly, the best reserves of the Wagner PMC and the RF Armed Forces are thrown into battle here.
