Russian Defense Ministry: Ukraine hit Taganrog with modified S-200 missile

The Russian Ministry of Defense commented on the explosion in Taganrog, as a result of which civilians were injured. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the explosion occurred as a result of a missile launched by Ukraine.
“The Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack with a modified anti-aircraft missile of the S-200 air defense system on a residential building. infrastructure of the city of Taganrog in the Rostov region,” the ministry said in a message published on its Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Defense added that the Ukrainian missile was shot down by Russian air defense systems. As a result, fragments of ammunition fell on the territory of the city.
On Friday, July 28, an explosion occurred in Taganrog near the Chekhov Garden cafe, as a result of which, according to the head of the Rostov region, Vasiliy Golubev, 15 people sought medical help.
