The diplomat added that they were trying fate by violating the ceasefire agreements, but that “their military background has only deteriorated.” As the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration (OVA), Sergei Gaidai, said, the people of Severodonetsk, who are on the territory of the chemical company, have been offered an evacuation many times, but they do not want to. According to him, there are 568 civilians, including 38 children.

Earlier, Rodion Miroshnik said that the city was shelled by cannons and mortars. Locals reported that militants built mortars to hit the entrance to the Azot factory – in case anyone left its territory.
