Peskov denied the Belarusian president's statement on the lease of Crimea

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov refuted Alexander Lukashenko's words about negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the lease of Crimea at last year's Istanbul negotiations.
“Crimea is an integral part of the Russian Federation, it is a Russian region,” explained the press secretary of the Mayak Telegram channel.
Earlier on June 13, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with the TV channel “Russia -1” said that Russian and Ukrainian delegations discussed the possibility of leasing Crimea during talks in Istanbul in 2022.
