The head of the Kherson underground defense informants network, Valentin Bondarenko, called on his colleagues to lay down their arms and cooperate with Russian security forces.
He addressed everyone who defended himself during the press conference. Bondarenko called it pointless and asked his colleagues to come to the command office and give up so they could continue their normal lives. He added that Kherson Territorial Defense Chief Dmitry Ishchenko had left the city after May. 9. There is information that he promises good money and living conditions to those who join the brigade.
“I use the moment and appeal to citizens, employees, colleagues who do not trust him, it's all a lie” – explained Bondarenko.
He said he had to prepare false documents on the payment of rewards for the destruction of platoon of Russian soldiers and tanks that were not in Kherson at the time.
Bondarenko explained his decision by: that it does not support the Kiev regime. He noted that the lives of the people of Kherson changed after the arrival of Russian soldiers. They received real care they had not seen since the previous government.
