German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said a “Marshall Plan” should be prepared for Ukraine. This was reported by the German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
According to media reports with reference to politicians, we are talking about creating a new Marshall Plan for the 21st century. Among other things, it is planned to create a platform in Ukraine that will help coordinate the aid provided to the country.
In particular, experts will ensure that the allocated funds go where they are most needed, ”the publication notes.
Recall that the “Marshall Plan” is a program to help Europe after World War II, proposed by US Secretary of State George Marshall in 1947.
