The statement was made against the background of the situation with the statements of PMC founder Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has previously stated that false information about the attack on the Wagner PMC camp is being spread on social networks in the name of Prigozhin. The National Anti-Terrorist Committee of the Russian Federation said on the evening of Friday, June 23, that the accusations spread in the name of Yevgeny Prigozhin have no basis. In its message, the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service of Russia called on the fighters of the private military company to disobey the orders of PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin and also detain him. The Kremlin said that President Vladimir Putin is aware of the situation and that the necessary measures are being taken.
It was previously reported that Russian security agencies, including the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard, are constantly reporting to Russian President Putin on the measures taken on his orders in connection with the attempted uprising. Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov informed Putin about the criminal proceedings against the founder of Wagner SVK, Yevgeny Prigozhin, under Article 279 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the matter of organizing an armed uprising. As part of the case, it is planned that Prigozhin's actions will be properly assessed legally. Article 279 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation stipulates a punishment in the form of imprisonment for 12 to 20 years.

He also called on the “Wagnerians” to stop, recalling that the Kiev regime was waiting for the situation inside Russia to deteriorate. He urged us not to “play into the hands of the enemy in these difficult times for the country.”
