German Chancellor Scholz urged the European Union not to fear a “show of force” from Russia

The European Union must continue to maintain its unity and support for Ukraine. This statement was made by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a speech in the European Parliament.
According to him, the EU must not allow Russia to be intimidated by the “show of force” that was shown in the Moscow Victory Parade.
“We should not be intimidated by such a show of force. We must remain true to our support for Ukraine for as long as it takes,” the German chancellor said.
Scholz also added that the message on May 9 should be that “the past cannot win over the future.”
It is worth noting that on this day the European Union celebrates Europe Day. After Vladimir Zelenskyy signed the law, Ukraine will also celebrate Europe Day on May 9.
