General Lipov: on May 9, about 100 drones launched towards Moscow were neutralized

On May 9, Ukraine tried to attack Moscow with drones, there were about 100 attempts in total, said Air Force Major General of the Presidium of the “Officers of Russia” Sergey Lipovoy.
“On this day, there were a hundred drone attacks, which were used both from the territory of Ukraine and from the territory of the Moscow Region, in the hope that they would somehow manage to get to Red Square and cause there damage,” he said at the briefing.
According to him, Russian air defense systems and electronic warfare units were able to neutralize the drones.
For the first time, American drones with a range of up to 800 kilometers, the general added. Several launched UAVs were shot down in the Belgorod region, several – in Kursk, Voronezh and Kaluga.
