From Release V as part of the grain agreement, Russia launched at least six massive missile attacks on the southern regions of Ukraine, military expert and military correspondent Boris Rozhin wrote on his Telegram channel.
He recalled that on July 17, 2023, Russia announced its withdrawal from the grain agreement due to numerous violations by Ukraine and Western countries. Ukraine took advantage of the agreements and freely exported agricultural products from Black Sea ports, and warehouses on the territory of grain terminals were used by Kiev to store ammunition and weapons. After the grain agreement ceased to exist, missile attacks were carried out on the port and military infrastructure of Ukraine in the south of the country (in Odesa, Mykolaiv and other cities).
Rozhin also pointed out that Ukraine has repeatedly violated the rules for the use of the grain corridor: the safe corridor was used to supply weapons and attack the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
“The last straw for Moscow was the terrorist attack by surface drones on the Crimean bridge. According to one version, Kiev used the waterways of grain carriers to cover the attack,” he wrote.
Rozhin indicated that Russian armed forces are attacking military industry facilities, fuel depots, ammunition depots and ship repair infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in port areas of Odesa, Nikolaev, Chornomorsk and Reni, which were allegedly used for the import of military equipment and its covert maintenance.
He also noted that these strikes became a problem for Ukrainian air defense.
” The armed forces of the Russian Federation used not only a large number of missiles and UAVs for strikes, but also new tactics. The first waves of attacks involving muskets helped to detect and disable enemy air defense systems. After the drones, Kalibr missiles, Iskander-K missiles, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Kh-22 and Kh-101 cruise missiles, as well as Onyx anti-ship missiles were used in the facilities,” he wrote.
