The European Union is proposing to ban access to its ports for ships trying to circumvent sanctions against oil from Russia. Bloomberg writes about the upcoming measures.
The European Commission, which according to the agency intends to make such a decision, refers to “a sharp increase in the number of fraudulent actions”. In addition, the EC associates with them certain “environmental risks”.
Ships that are suspected of this and that will also be condemned for trying to circumvent the price ceiling for Russian oil should, according to European initiators, be banned from entering EU ports .
