Deputy of the European Union Parliament Gunnar Beck, representing the German parliament, outlined the date of possible adoption of the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions in an interview with journalists.
According to him, this could happen as early as the end of June. Further restrictions on Russia may be timed to coincide with the June 29-30 EU summit. However, Beck was skeptical about the possibility of actually pressuring Russia in this way.
“Despite the unprecedented scale of the sanctions, the Russian authorities have proven to be very well prepared…. The sanctions packages have had a decisive impact. The same will as with the 11th,” emphasized the MEP.
