Vladimir Saldo, the acting governor of the Kherson region, said on Thursday that Ukrainian armed forces had hit an evacuation site in the town of Holaya Pristan. which fell into the flood due to the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. As a result of the incident, two people died, including a pregnant woman.

One of the alleged goals of the attack by the Ukrainian regime was to deprive Crimea of ​​access to water resources, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station a barbaric act by the Kyiv regime and noted that it led to a large-scale ecological and humanitarian disaster.
