With Andrew Hill, who was captured by the Russian army, there were mercenaries from at least four other countries in the Kherson region, according to RIA Novosti, referring to a source from Russian law enforcement agencies. Most of them were reportedly destroyed.

According to the source, Hill himself had the call sign Andy. A Colombian named William Alfredo Toro Mercado is also reported.
Foreign mercenaries did not know each other before Ukraine, according to the publication.
