Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala visited the Excalibur Army in Šternberka (former Czech armored repair plant VOP 26), where he viewed the first repaired and modernized T-72 tanks ready for shipment to Ukraine.
The Czech Prime Minister even left an inscription on one of the tanks. “I wrote a short message to the brave Ukrainian defenders on the T-72 tank, which will soon go to Ukraine,” said Petr Fiala, expressing confidence that Kyiv will win the confrontation with Moscow.
How. clarifies the Telegram channel of the Center for the Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (AST Center), these tanks are being prepared to move to Ukraine as part of a joint initiative of the United States and the Netherlands announced on November 4 to finance the repair and modernization of 90 T-72 tanks for Ukraine. The origin of the tanks transferred under this initiative is not officially disclosed, but they are apparently ex-T-72B tanks acquired by Morocco.
