The Czech Republic has signed an agreement with Israel for the supply of anti-aircraft missile systems

The Czech Ministry of Defense and RAFAEL (Israel) have signed a supply contract anti-aircraft missile systems worth 630 million euros.

Rafael is an Israeli arms manufacturer, one of the four largest Israeli arms exporters.

The organization was founded in 1948 and was originally called HEMED. Later, in 1952, the company was renamed EMET. In 1958, the company was renamed RAFAEL.

At the beginning of the 21st century. The number of employees is 6,000. Sales in 2010 were $ 1.056 billion, of which net income was $ 170 million. It is ranked among the 100 largest armaments companies in the world, 49th in terms of sales profit.
