Authorities The Kakhovsky District of Kherson Oblast called on residents to evacuate urgently due to the high level of military threat in its Telegram channel.
“Leave the village immediately. Your life is in danger. A high level of military threat is expected,” he detailed in to the administration of the district, stating that the evacuation is taking place in an organized manner by road.
On November 9, the commander of the grouping of Russian troops in the zone of special military operations (SVO), army general Sergei Surovikin, proposed organizing the defense along the line of the Dnieper River, the chief of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, agreed to this proposal and ordered the withdrawal of troops.
