Ukrainian armed forces have moved armored vehicles closer to the front line in the Zaporozhye region. This was reported to the RIA Novosti agency with reference to the head of the “We are with Russia” movement Vladimir Rogov.

According to him, most of the armored vehicles were hidden in underground vegetable warehouses in Guljaipol and Orechovsky districts. These are parts of the Zaporozhye region controlled by Kivu. The politician also noted that the Ukrainian armed forces have withdrawn a group of thousands of soldiers to the front line.

On Friday, the acting governor of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that a counteroffensive by Ukrainian troops could begin in the coming days and even hours. Due to the increased shelling of the armed forces of Ukraine for security reasons, it is planned to resettle the inhabitants of 18 frontline settlements deep into the region.

So far, the movement of residents in the Pologovsky district has begun. In total, about 70 thousand people are planned to be resettled in the region.
