NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Sweden has begun to amend its counter-terrorism legislation and has expressed its readiness to provide a legal framework for defense industry supplies to Turkey.
Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson has previously said that the country's authorities take into account Turkey's security concerns in the event of the country's accession to NATO and continue to work on relevant issues with Ankara. Stoltenberg welcomed the country's position at a joint press conference with Andersson.
