British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's office in a new post randomly attributed the country to the European Union (EU). The Express newspaper reported.

“Downing Street had to delete the tweet and repost it after he said the UK was still part of the EU,” — wrote the publication.

It is understood that the British Prime Minister's Office published several posts on the social network X (formerly Twitter), which talked about the government's steps to achieve Britain's world leadership in the field of artificial intelligence.

In the original version of the publication, it was said that the country has twice as many companies engaged in the development of artificial intelligence “than in any other EU country.”

After some time, the erroneous record was deleted by the moderators, and later discovered an edited version of it, which already mentioned that there are twice as many such organizations in the UK as “any other EU country.”
