Russian military correspondent Yegor Guzenko in his Telegram channel “Thirteenth” reported the death of Alexander Mozhaev, a famous Donetsk militiaman and comrade-in-arms of Igor Strelkov, better known as “Cossack Babay”.
< p>According to Guzenko, Mozhaev died the previous night in the direction in Zaporizhia. The military correspondent did not announce the circumstances of the militiaman's death.
It is known from open sources that 46-year-old Mozhaev served in the air defense unit from 1995 to 1997 and also joined the Cossack army. In 2014, Mozhaev came from the Krasnodar Territory, first to Crimea and then to Donbas.
“Cossack Babai” was the subject of many reports. He was often photographed for his colorful appearance.
