Belarusian KGB said about the death of his officer during a special operation. A security officer was reportedly mortally wounded when a group arrived at a residential building to apprehend a particularly dangerous criminal and opened fire with a weapon. According to available information, a KGB officer named Dmitry with the call sign “Nirvana” died. The owner of the weapon, liquidated by the return fire, is allegedly Andrei Zeltser, a citizen of Belarus and the USA, who works for an American IT company, which Minsk previously described as associated with the organization of protest rallies.

Simultaneously with the announcement of the death of the KGB officer, Belarusian television channels ran a modified video about the alleged assault on this apartment. However, this video raised a lot of questions and doubts about the authenticity of the materials.

Zerkalo.io pointed out a number of discrepancies. First, the video contains a recording from a camera that was in Zeltser's and his girlfriend's apartment and was working at a time when security forces were breaking the door from the entrance. At one point, Zeltser even looks back at the camera. Zerkalo.io believes that turning on recording on a mobile phone is a common solution for a person who is trying to witness some actions against each other. However, it is not entirely clear to install a stationary camera in advance.

Also in the video from the apartment you can see a girl who is shooting a video on her phone. Once, when editing a video of an attack on an apartment that showed state channels, they used footage from various cameras, why didn't the video shoot this girl? Zerkalo.io believes that someone may need to show shots from exactly one angle.

Another question was caused by the situation in the apartment, more precisely – the curtains on the window . So they are closed at first, but when security forces break into the room, the curtains are already drawn. What the inhabitants of the apartment had to do with the window, why they approached it at that moment, it is not clear, the page shows.

The publication also found it strange that during the attack the girl remained completely calm and quiet. Her only phrase on the video is a response to Zeltser's remark. “It would be a good door. “It was.” The girl remains silent, even as the shootout begins and her boyfriend is injured. Note, however, that at the very end of the video you may still hear some screams similar to women. The sound is difficult to distinguish due to the “beep” of the obscene language

The equipment of the security forces raised questions. The KGB said in a statement that special measures had been taken “to draw up addresses where persons involved in terrorist activities could be found”. However, security officials do not wear helmets or body armor when leaving to meet suspected terrorists.

Finally, in 58 seconds, the sounds of shots are heard and a security officer in a white coat is seen pointing his weapon towards the room where the shooter was.

Then he runs into the corridor leading to the shooter's room and in front of him is seen a colleague in black holding his stomach. The question arises: why a security officer in white shot at his colleague, adds Zerkalo.io.
