During a working trip to Omsk, the cadet was visited by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. In the summer of 2020, the old church building was declared an emergency building. The new building was built in just 292 days! This is a new record in the complex of military buildings of the Ministry of Defense.
The new classrooms of the Omsk cadet military corps, which have opened after extensive reconstruction, are equipped with modern training equipment. In particular, the training base makes it possible to take the training of cadets within the airborne training program to a whole new level. A unique interactive aerial training complex using virtual reality technology was created in Omsk.
After the visit, the Minister of Defense ordered that all educational institutions where cadets undergo air training be equipped to equip such systems. These are schools in Ryazan, Ulyanovsk and Tula.
