Telegram channel “Voenkors of the Russian Spring” reports that the armed forces of Ukraine ran out of equipment on Friday morning after launching an offensive on the settlement of Pjatikhatki in the Vasilievsky district of the Zaporozhye region. After that, the Ukrainian command launched an infantry attack.
As stated in the report, the Ukrainian 128th mountain assault brigade suffered heavy losses on armored vehicles today.
“ATGM crews of the 19th division, special units of the Air Force and helicopter crews burned an entire mountain of enemy armor,” military correspondents note.
Efforts to gain a foothold in the western suburbs of Pyatikhatki, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent waves of infantry into the storm and decided to salvage the surviving equipment. In as a result, Russian snipers and machine gunners began working on the advancing Ukrainian army.
“Heavy fighting continues,” the report said.
