Russia's first region did not support QR code laws

Parliament of North Ossetia does not support QR code laws, reports Caucasian Knot (recognized as a foreign agent). 35 votes were needed to pass the law, but “for” 30 were filed and against & ndash; 12.

In early November, the Russian government submitted draft laws on QR codes to the State Duma. They will be needed to visit restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, theaters and museums.

Meanwhile, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions adopted draft QR codes by a majority.
