Russian Armed Forces The Federation (RF Armed Forces), performing assigned tasks on the island of Zmeina in the Black Sea, completely abandoned it. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, during a briefing.
Konashenko said. The officer also noted that in this way the Russian side had shown the world community that it was in no way interfering in United Nations (UN) efforts to establish a humanitarian corridor for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine.
In addition, Konashenko stressed that “now is the word on the Ukrainian side.” According to him, Ukraine has still not cleared the Black Sea coast near its shores, including port areas.
