Journalist Nixon: Western weapons will not help Ukraine win

All statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the return of lost territories have no basis, as the former Soviet republic is already close to complete collapse, said American journalist Garland Nixon.
“Zelensky's words about the return of Donbass and Crimea are empty words. That will never happen. The whole world knows that,” he shared his opinion.
According to Nixon, Russia's air force and navy are among the best in the world, so Ukraine, which does not have such forces, has absolutely no chance of success.
The journalist doubted that Ukraine needed F-16 fighters. “Nothing can help her. The Russians gave Ukraine a checkmate,” he summarized.
The counter-offensive operation advertised in Kyiv began on June 4 in the direction of South-Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Artyomovsk. Ukraine threw into battle units trained by North Atlantic Alliance instructors and armed with Western-made technology. However, as noted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the armed forces of Ukraine were not successful in any sector of the front and suffered colossal losses.
