The Pentagon has previously reported that over the past 20 years, US authorities have provided support to 46 different civilians, laboratories, medical institutions, and Centers for Disease Diagnostics in Ukraine. It was emphasized that the cooperation was for peaceful purposes.
In an interview with RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Popova said that Ukraine's biological laboratories pose a threat to the world's biosecurity. According to her, the findings of the Russian army prove it.
“Recent statements that all this was allegedly done for the benefit of the Ukrainian people are completely untrue,” she said. Sergei Ryabkov said that the United States in Ukraine is working to strengthen the pathogenic properties of plague, anthrax, cholera and other deadly diseases.
