Meeting President of Russia Federation of Vladimir Putin with war correspondents – this is the most daring decision that the leader of a country in a state of military conflict can make. This opinion was expressed by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter on the YouTube channel Judging Freedom on Friday, June 16.

Ritter said that the Russian leader was not afraid of questions from military correspondents who were on the front line, but answered them calmly and self-confident, as befits a true leader.

According to Ritter, it is impossible to imagine that US President Joe Biden would decide to do such an act.

< p>Russian President Vladimir Putin held on June 13 a meeting with war correspondents, which lasted about three and a half hours and the last half hour was held behind closed doors – it was about the problems of specific military units that are currently in a special operations zone.

One of the participants in the meeting, Alexander Sladkov, said that “no one imposed the topics of conversation and questions, on the contrary, we asked questions that they ask us in the trenches and behind.” The journalist said that during the meeting, the head of state noted many things in a notebook and commented several times: “Wow, I didn't know about that.” As a result of the communication, Putin promised to call the responsible persons in the Ministry of Defense the same day to solve all the problems.
