Artillery of the “Dnieper” group hit the command and observation post and control post of Ukrainian UAVs near Kherson. In an interview with RIA Novosti, the head of the press center of the group, Alexei Rulev, stated this.
He noted that the drone checkpoint belongs to the 124th Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition to it and the command post, a warehouse of equipment and ammunition was also hit during the shelling. According to Rulev, the Ukrainian army lost up to 30 people in this direction. In addition, more than ten vehicles and armored vehicles were destroyed.
The head of the press center added that two mortar crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed near the settlements of Otradokamenka, Burgunka and Novotyaginka. The group's air defense systems, in turn, suppressed two enemy attack drones.
