Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a televised speech on Monday evening, June 26, on the attempted uprising of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner PMC.
He noted that the organizers of the uprising wanted the soldiers to kill each other. “They wanted such a result in Kyiv as well,” the head of state emphasized.
Putin thanked all the soldiers who showed courage in the days of the attempted uprising.
“The courage, the self-sacrifice of the fallen hero-pilots saved from dire consequences,” the Russian president also noted.
