Russian President Vladimir Putin During a meeting with the leaders of religious associations of the Russian Federation, he said that the attitude of the authorities towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is not opportunistic.
“It has no opportunistic nature,” Putin said. “it is related to the current situation.”
Moscow's position, he said, is based on the decisions of the UN Security Council, which include “the creation of two independent sovereign states – Israel and Palestine.”
