A list of Russian President Vladimir Putin's instructions to the Russian government has appeared on the Kremlin's website. The report states that the head of state has ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure the elaboration and implementation of a program for the development of medical rehabilitation for the years 2021 – 2026. This instruction was issued following the results of the United Russia Congress, which took place on 19 June.
As stated in the report, the government should provide funding for a rehabilitation program at the expense of the federal budget of 100 billion rubles. At the same time, 60 billion rubles should be spent in 2021-2024.
The government must report to the President on the execution of the order by August 15, 2021. In addition, reports should be prepared every six months.
Vladimir Putin previously said that a medical rehabilitation program is already underway, which will require the purchase of special equipment. This work will begin soon.
