Russian President Vladimir Putin according to the official legal information portal, appointed the head of the main directorate for drug control, Lieutenant General Andrei Khrapov, to the position of Deputy Minister of the Interior.
Khrapov has headed the Directorate-General for Drug Control since 2016.
By the same decree, Putin also dismissed Deputy Interior Minister General Police Colonel Mikhail Vanichkin.
Khrapov is a graduate of the presidential program for the training of the public service personnel management reserve, which was launched in 2017 on the basis of the University of Economics.
