Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on Denmark's refusal to investigate the Nord Stream explosion together with Russia. According to him, Denmark reacted rationally to the proposals of the Russian side.
Putin noted that Denmark was immediately invited to conduct an inspection of the oil pipeline with the participation of international experts, as there could be another explosive device. “But we received such a simplistic answer that our services are not particularly needed, and if it becomes necessary, we will be informed about it at some point,” Putin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin about Russia. 24.< /p>
He also said Russian explosives experts were studying photos from the scene. They concluded that the object found at the junction of the two pipes could be an antenna to receive a signal from the air or from space to initiate an explosive device. Denmark has been informed of this.
