Senator Aleksey Pushkov in his Telegram channel commented on Warsaw's demand from its EU and NATO ally Germany for reparations for the damage caused to it during World War II.

“Such a demand for damage 80 years ago, after this topic was closed long ago, is an undoubted sign of imbalance in the world system, including the Western one,” Pushkov wrote.

According to him, all the norms and rules of the post-war world “are called into question” and “the world has entered a period of new uncertainty and disorder.”
