Evgeny Prigozhina's press service published his comment possible cooperation with the former representative of the People's Militia of the DLR, Eduard Basurin. He previously said that he was ready to cooperate with Wagner PMC, but did not intend to “officially enter the structure” and “work directly for this organization.”
Prigozhin confirmed that he discussed with Basurin the possibility of his employment, but preferred to independent activities.

Earlier, Prigozhin discussed the possible recruitment of another well-known Donbas military functionary, Igor Strelkov, to the PMC, but he refused to work after a public dispute on a social network.
