PMC “Wagner” founder Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that Kyiv needs more time to prepare a counter-offensive. Earlier, in an interview with the BBC, Zelenskyi said that Kiev now has the opportunity to move forward, but there will be heavy losses. That's why we need time to get more help from the West.
“Zelensky is insincere. The counter-offensive is in full swing,” Prigozhin said. His words are quoted by the press service in its telegram channel.
“In the direction of Artemovsk, the units of the armed forces of Ukraine are going to the flanks,” noted Prigozhin, adding that in some places their actions are successful.
< p> “We are moving further in Artemovsk to close it,” Prigozhin also said.
According to the founder of Wagner PMC, it is important for the armed forces of Ukraine to break the front in Artemovsk now, and then they can enter the territory of Russia in the area Bryansk and Belgorod and also continue in the Zaporozhye region. But first they need to deal with the Artemiv direction.
“That's why the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has started. Those units that were trained, got weapons, tanks, are already in full deployment,” Prigozhin said.
“PMC “Wagner” continues to carry out combat missions,” he added.
