The Russian side presented draft resolution of the UN Security Council on the investigation of sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, spoke about this in an interview with the American radio station WBAI.

“A few days ago hours, we actually presented a draft resolution to the UN Security Council on the creation of an international commission to investigate sabotage on the Nord Stream,” the diplomat confirmed.

He also emphasized that Russia will seek a vote on the resolution next week.

Previously, Dmitry Polyansky said in his Telegram channel that in light of new information about the undermining of the Nord Stream gas pipeline fibers, Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on February 22 at 15:00 New York time (23:00 Moscow time). .
