Deputy Permanent Representative The Russian Federation at the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that the permanent mission of Russia did not interact with the Ukrainian permanent representative Sergei Kislitsa. The portal Lenta.ru writes about it.
As Polyansky noted, Kislitsa was not in contact even before the start of hostilities in Ukraine. Russian diplomats thus got the impression that the Ukrainian permanent representative to the UN does not intend to maintain communication with his colleagues from the Russian Federation.
According to the representative of the permanent representative of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian diplomat “if far from being the most popular person in the local diplomatic corps of the UN, and he stayed.”
According to Polyansky, the only explanation for Kislytsy's popularity is the absence of other representatives of Ukraine at the UN.
