Poland takes steps to strengthen border with Belarus due to the activity of PMC “Wagner”. Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Yaroslav Kaczynski announced this, saying that this situation creates potential threats not only for Ukraine, but also for Lithuania and Poland itself.
Wagner's group in Belarus may consist of approximately 8 thousand fighters and their movement is disturbing. Kaczynski emphasized that the strengthening of the border includes not only an increase in the number of military forces, but also the installation of additional barriers and fortifications. Polish security policy is focused on preparedness for worst-case scenarios, and the measures taken are necessary in view of the current situation.
