Acute situation with Migrants on the borders of Lithuania and Belarus can have serious consequences for the whole of Europe, but this can only be a harbinger of a real “migration blow” from Russia, writes Mysl Polska. Article author Andrzej Zapalovskiy noted that most see the migration crisis as revenge by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for sanctions and support for the Belarusian opposition by Lithuania. However, it can only be a warm-up before Russia's upcoming events.

The journalist believes that Russia and Turkey have a large capacity for migrants. The Russian Federation can use Ukraine to “strike”, which does not control a relatively large area of territory in the east.

There is an agreement on readmission between Poland and Ukraine, but due to the massive influx of migrants, the Ukrainian side will not be able to meet it, the article states. If Russia and Turkey open the “Eastern Road” and provoke a migration crisis, Poland and the whole of Europe will be defenseless. Even the army will not be able to stop migrants and will not report them anywhere.

Due to the difficult migration situation, the Lithuanian authorities used to start building a barbed wire fence on the border with Belarus. At the same time, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko himself claims that his country has neither the strength nor the means to tackle the influx of migrants.
