The Press Secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, answered the question of journalists whether Armenia has clarified its position on the possible arrest of Vladimir Putin at the request of the International Criminal Court in the event of his visit to the republic.

< p>“Not yet. We will discuss this with our partners,” the Rise Telegram channel reports. Peskov's words.

President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Arman Dilanyan read the decision that all obligations under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court are recognized in the republic as corresponding to the basic of the law. Armenia started the process of ratifying the Rome Statute a few months ago in order to be able to file a complaint against Azerbaijan at the ICC.

Let us recall that Russia, like the United States, Israel and other countries do not recognize the ICC, therefore its decisions are not for Russian Federation legal force.
