Dmitry Peskov said journalists that today the president will make two speeches. In both cases, its addressees will be the army. First, in Cathedral Square in the Kremlin, they will turn to the units of the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Guard, the FSB, the FSO, and the Ministry of the Interior, who ensured the rule of law during an attempted armed rebellion.< /p>

According to Peskov, many fighters arrived at this event, there were the need to find a place “where they could settle down comfortably”, therefore the Cathedral Square was chosen.

Journalists show footage of law enforcement officers gathered in the square. A red carpet was laid on a veranda near the Palace of Facets and a microphone was installed.

Then, a Kremlin spokesman specified, Putin will meet separately with several soldiers in the Kremlin. “You will also hear a speech at this meeting,” he said.

Vladimir Putin will speak with Russian media representatives in the evening. “This is a well-established format,” Peskov said.

He recalled that such a meeting was held quite recently, but then the president had a busy schedule that did not allow him to devote the necessary time to the invitees. “Today the conversation will continue, it will be closed,” he said.
