Lecturers United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, who spoke to reporters, expressed her gratitude to the military for the support provided during the visit of the US Congressional delegation to Taiwan.
She added that the cancellation of the trip was not considered, despite the negative reaction of the Chinese authorities.
“We are proud of our military for minimizing China's influence on our journey,” Pelosi said.
