Russia and The West, in terms of the fate of Ukraine, should recognize the Ukrainians themselves. Otherwise they will not be effective. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of the country Alexei Danilov. He commented on draft agreements between Russia, the United States and NATO countries, which were published last week.
In particular, the documents set out mutual security guarantees in Europe. Including – do not mix medium and short range missiles within range. In addition, Russia is demanding that NATO abandon plans to expand to the east. Including at the expense of the former republics of the USSR.
Washington was ready to discuss security issues with Moscow.
Recently, the United States and European countries have “expressed concern” that Russia is reportedly withdrawing military power to Ukraine's borders. At the same time, the Ukrainians themselves and especially the head of the NSDC claim that there is no critical building of forces.
Moscow has indicated several times that the West is using this “concern” as an excuse for countries to have more military equipment.
