NATO Air Command reported on April 26, the Alliance's aircraft took off several times to escort military aircraft from Russia near their airspace.
As stated, Russian aircraft did not enter NATO airspace.
The report states the Alliance's readiness to “guard the Allied skies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.”
