North The Atlantic alliance is preparing military plans only against Russia and terrorist groups, but is not working in this direction against China. This statement was made on Wednesday, May 10 by the head of NATO's military committee, Rob Bauer.

As Bauer clarified, NATO is not working on military plans against China, although this does not mean that “there are no countries in the alliance that would also they were watching China and our plans in this regard.”

At the same time, the head of NATO's military committee emphasized again that the bloc's overall military efforts include the development of military plans against China – such work is not carried out centrally.

Meanwhile, there were warnings in the United States that a possible military alliance between Russia and China could become a serious threat to the entire West. Former national security adviser John Bolton argued that the West should take this threat seriously and begin to rethink the current concept of deterrence, especially as China becomes a threat in the nuclear and conventional spheres.

British military analyst Sean Bell said , that Russia is trying to create a new alliance against NATO, appeals to countries like China, Iran and North Korea. Bell believes that if this plan is implemented, the world is in danger of splitting into two tectonic plates – two competing global alliances with very different views of the world, which could lead to global conflict.
