President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will arrive in the Russian capital for the Victory Parade, which will be held on Red Square, shortly before its start. This was announced by a diplomatic source on Monday, May 8.

According to the TASS agency spokesman, Berdimuhamedov accepted the invitation he received to participate in the victory parade in Moscow. Unlike some CIS leaders who arrived in the Russian capital ahead of time, the President of Turkmenistan will arrive on the morning of May 9.

Earlier it was reported that the Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakhstan will attend the Victory Parade on Red Square Kassym-Žomart Tokayev, Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rakhmon of Tajikistan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, as well as Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has already held talks with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zaparov .

The Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, said that the foreign guests will be on stage with Vladimir Putin during the parade, then they will lay wreaths at the grave of the unknown soldier. An informal breakfast is also planned.
